One of our first stops after leaving our home of 24 years in Newtown Square was Martha's Vineyard. We have had the opportunity, over the years, to explore Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, and Block Island, all in the Nantucket Sound off the New England coast. This time we took the ferry and had lunch at the Black Dog Tavern:

New England gardens are always beautiful. I think it is because of the shorter growing season and cooler weather - everything blooms at once:
